New Zelda games only come along every few years. That’s why we here at TGPZ are always on the lookout for games that scratch that Zelda itch. Games such as Blossom Tales and Oceanhorn have helped fill the void for top-down Zelda-like games. Now, TaleGames Inc. is developing a game that looks to capture the magic of a different Zelda: Zelda II. A new gameplay teaser released on TaleGames’ YouTube page introduces us to Faeland, described by TaleGames as “a Metroidvania Action Adventure RPG indie game featuring pixel graphics.” Anyone who has seen or played Zelda II will instantly recognize the similarities in art style and gameplay. While Zelda II may not be the most popular game in the series, it’s exciting to see TaleGames attempt to capture the classic Zelda feel!
