Fans have been speculating for weeks that Nintendo will host one of its Direct streams sometime in January. Well, Nintendo came through today with a Nintendo Direct Mini, detailing some new upcoming Switch titles. While the presentation was relatively light on Zelda content, there was one nice Zelda-related piece of news: Hyrule Warriors is coming to the Switch this Spring! Originally released on the Wii U, the new Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will include all the maps and playable characters from the original version, plus new Breath of the Wild-based outfits for Link and Zelda. Since the Wii U didn’t get a whole lot of love, it is great to see Nintendo continue to port some of its most popular games to the Switch. Here’s hoping that trend doesn’t stop anytime soon!

You can check out the Nintendo Direct Mini below, or click here to watch it on Nintendo’s YouTube page. We have conveniently set the video to start at the Hyrule Warriors announcement.
