I think we can all agree that trying to climb mountains during rain in Breath of the Wild is one of the most frustrating parts of the game. It always seems to happen at the worst time, like when you are almost to the top of a very large incline. Rain is one of the reasons I have avoided the forest area so much in the game. It’s almost impossible to climb there. I was shocked when Nintendo released their first DLC pack and it didn’t have a solution to this “climbing during rain” issue.
Well a solution is finally here, thanks to Youtuber Austin John Plays! In this video, he shows you a glitch that allows you to run up a mountain without losing stamina, which also works when it is raining. The trick is that Link barely grabs onto the side of the incline, so he has no time to slide back down. Austin John Plays makes sure to point out that this trick only works on inclines 70 degrees or less.
