To celebrate its 300th issue, Game Informer has compiled a list of its top 300 games of all time. In a bit of a shock, A Link to the Past for Super Nintendo was named the best game of all time! I personally was thrilled to see this, as ALttP is my favorite entry in the Zelda series. Other Zelda games to make the list included Ocarina of Time (Hick’s favorite Zelda game) at 39, the original Legend of Zelda at 58, Breath of the Wild at 100, Majora’s Mask at 128, and Link’s Awakening at 216. If you have a digital subscription to Game Informer, you can check out the whole list here.

In addition to its own Top 300 list, Game Informer also polled its readers and created a Reader’s Choice Top 300. Readers voted Ocarina of Time at 3, Breath of the Wild at 6, A Link to the Past at 14, The Wind Waker at 30, Majora’s Mask at 34, Twilight Princess at 47, the original Legend of Zelda at 58, Ocarina of Time 3D at 183 (I don’t think they should have split OoT and OoT 3D personally, but it’s not my list!), Skyward Sword at 194, and Link’s Awakening at 230. You don’t have to have a digital subscription to view the Reader’s Choice list. Just click here to check it out!

All in all, the Legend of Zelda series has an incredible showing in both lists, which is a testament to how popular and excellent the entry has been for over thirty years! Now we want to hear from our readers. What do you think of Game Informer’s lists? What games do you consider the best of all time? Let us know in the comments!
